Edibles Cook JOB Overview:
The Edibles Cook supports the Lead Cook in the gummy manufacturing process.
This position is responsible for monitoring and maintaining cleanliness of the gummy kitchen.
The Edibles Cook will strictly follow the company's standard operating procedures and quality control measures to maintain production of high-quality products.
REPORTS TO:
Lead Cook, Production Manager, and Quality Manager ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Coordinate with Lead Cook on all essential functions of the gummy manufacturing process.
Wash dishes and kitchenware in the edibles kitchen and perform all required sanitation processes in the edibles kitchen.
Operate and maintain manufacturing and packaging equipment.
Conduct regular quality control checks on products to ensure consistency and safety.
Maintain accurate and detailed records of production and packaging processes.
Collaborate with other team members to improve production processes and efficiency.
Comply with procedures, methodologies, and compliance steps for tracking hemp-cannabis products from seed to sale.
Accurately calibrate scales and balances to ensure proper measurement of hemp-cannabis products.
Sanitize all production equipment and tools including workspace, utensils, containers, cookware, and machinery.
Assist with the creation of batch production records and labels in accordance with state regulations.
Assist with the weighing, packaging, labeling, and documentation of all products, as well as the tracking of batch numbers, lot numbers, and expiration dates.
Ensure the above information is accurate, appropriately documented and listed clearly in accordance with the state regulations and company standard operating procedures.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

Must be 21+, with a valid State ID, with no violent crime or controlled substance felonies and able to pass additional background screening EDUCATION:
