NA Marketing Communication Manager

The Saint-Gobain Tape Solutions business offers innovative products for bonding, protection and insulation to the automotive, aerospace, energy, construction, electronics, medical, and general industry sectors. The NA Marketing Communication Manager is responsible for driving integrated marketing campaigns and programs in North America that support the global Tape Solutions business objectives for sustained growth. This role will be developing, implementing, and measuring all aspects of integrated marketing campaigns that cut across a range of product categories, brands, and customer segments. This person will utilize digital, social, PR, advertising, tradeshows, brand management and digital and customer tools to form cohesive marketing communications campaigns. A key objective for this role will be to ensure our marketing communications programs are well aligned, are as effective and efficient as possible, and are having maximum impact. Working knowledge of earned, owned, and paid media and mediums is critical. This person will be working directly with customers and internal global business teams to develop unique strategies for our differentiated service model focused on select, custom and OEM specified products. Excellent interpersonal, communication, organization and project management skills are essential. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES: Develop marketing communications programs and campaigns to support North American business growth objectives and priorities, including an annual marketing communications plan with new product launches, trade shows, websites, brochures, and other collateral materials   Develop and execute content in collaboration with the product marketing team, provide creative direction on projects, and implement overall corporate and/or product positioning   Collaborate with key stakeholders across the business and the organization to build alignment and support for integrated campaigns   Manage marketing programs and campaigns to ensure they are meeting corporate brand guidelines and building brand equity by delivering relevant and meaningful communications and experiences and driving brand standards, while ensuring deliverable deadlines are met   Oversee the marketing communications editing and approval process to ensure high-quality standards   Identify and incorporate objective metrics and ROI measures across marketing communications materials, programs, and campaigns to evaluate effectiveness and overall performance; report back to management; adjust future tactics and campaigns as needed   Leverage trends and best practices in B2B marketing to drive innovative and effective communications strategy   Negotiate with printing firms, publications, and other vendors; obtain estimates and assist in vendor selection for projects in various media   Maintain awareness of new media technology, techniques, and strategies such as social networks, and integrate them into communication plans   Work closely with the EU Marketing Communications Manager to ensure global consistency of messaging, share best practices and coordinate shared programs with support of internal global graphic design resource   Domestic travel up to 25%   ESSENTIAL SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS Experience in a fast-paced environment requiring a sense of urgency and an understanding of changing priorities with an emphasis on results, while providing support for the team through your diplomacy   Degree in Business/Marketing and/or proven experience in field with 5+ years of experience in marketing and business to include: future product marketing, current business marketing communications, branding, email marketing, value proposition and messaging   Thorough knowledge of relevant software and technology platforms including Microsoft platforms (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), web browsers, Alfresco, Salesforce   Google Analytics and AdWords certification preferred   Knowledge of Drupal CMS Platform preferred (7+)   Experience working for a manufacturer with a B2B distribution model a strong plus Financial skills related to budget management preferred   Demonstrated strong project management experience   Experience working in and leading cross-functional teams successfully by setting high standards for performance in marketing, providing feedback to team members, and ensuring accountability for results   Proven ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with employees, vendors, and customers   Must have high energy, creativity, confidence, passion for the job, decisive eye for detail, exceptional teamwork and communication skills, and an eagerness and drive to keep up with new technologies and training   Adept at writing, speaking, and building interpersonal relationships, including internationally   Demonstrated excellent communication skills utilizing strong listening skills and a logical, systematic approach to assimilating and sharing information in all areas   B.A. or B.S. in Marketing, Communications, Business Management, Public Relations or related field is required Web Analytics Certification, Social Media Certification, and Email Marketing Certification are preferred   Additional description Content Development ( 30%)   Develop and manage a content calendar, drawing in the appropriate Marketing & Sales resources   Create unique content for Tape Solutions website targeted at specific customer segments   Develop supporting marketing collateral including product literature, print & digital advertisements, training materials, trade show graphics, email newsletters, posters/banners/signage, distributor programs, web graphics   Support on-locationphotography and videography activities, ensuring they support larger strategy   Manage project workflow once duties are assigned and provide ongoing reporting of timelines, issues or progress   Project Management ( 30%) Support 2019-2020 website relaunch with new content (copy, literature, video, photos)   Develop and maintain social media content   Coordinate NA tradeshow activity (book space, messaging, promotion, lead distribution)   Participate in NA customer visits to ensure voice of customer is captured in digital platform development   Email Marketing & Inbound Marketing Management ( 20%)   Develop and implement email campaigns, including assembling email customer lists   Manage inbound marketing system, including campaign development and data analysis   Segment audiences and develop compelling custom content for specific groups   Design and deliver email campaigns using Pardot, with support of internal graphic design resource Digital Platform Support & Maintenance ( 20%)   Ensure any newly created content is posted to website, DAM and other relevant platforms   Manage timeline and deliverables for digital marketing platforms, including Global Spec and ThomasNet   Work with Digital Marketing Specialist to make content changes to website as needed   Prepare and fulfill internal and external file and/or image requests as needed Point of contact for interfacing with our customers and supporting their digital goals (ie. website updates, newsletter content)   Use Salesforce CRM for campaign management and lead nurturing Saint-Gobain provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, genetic information, marital status, amnesty, or status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
